6 Tips to Stay Motivated to Workout

Find your reason “WHY”

Short term and long term goals. Short term usually leads to troubles. We tend to set short term goals to look good for an event or our friends. It’s about us not them. This has to be about how you feel and for the long term. You want to be in yoru own body and do the things you’ve always wanted to do. Tony trains so he can be happy, joyous, have energy and feel great. Not so he looks good. Yeah everyone wants to look good but it has to start with how you want to feel. you want to effect your mind and your attitude.

Find Your Inspiration

Find an mentor or coach that you can follow to inspire you. What do they have that you want.

Accountability

You are the company you keep. The people that you spend the most time with are the ones that you tend to start acting like. Find people that want what you want…. which is to have a better life.

Find a challenge group, friends, family, spouses, neighbors, kids, or whoever you can find that is going to keep you accountable and you can do the same for them. You can schedule daily check-ins with each other to make sure you stayed on track. If you live close by you can try to workout together as well.

Say “YES”

Say YES to your workout all the time. Even if you are tired, it’s late, you don’t have time…. whatever excuse you come up with. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just get it done.

The only time to say NO is when you are sick or injured.

Set Reasonable Goals

What are your goals for 30 days, 6o days, 90 days, 120 days, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years. Plan way out… Now it part of who you are, it’s your lifestyle. If you like felling good and looking good it’s forever.

Reward Your Progress

AH the best part. You worked hard to get results so how are you going to reward yourself? New clothes, new workout clothes, a new toy, what about a vacation?

Those are some AWESOME ways to help maintain and sustain your HEALTH and WELLNESS!
