I’ve been hearing this term a lot lately. It’s POWERHOUR.
There are quite a few successful people in business that use this.
It’s a FOCUSED block of one hour of time that you have set tasks that you complete.
You can use this in business or for your health and fitness journey.
It’s amazing what you can get done in this focused amount of time if you stick with it each day.
Each day I have 1 hour set aside first thing in the morning.
Here’s my power hour:
- Get up, get dressed.
- Drink some water.
- Drink my E & E.
- Go through my morning power questions, affirmations, gratitude and goals.
- Read 15 minutes from a personal development book.
- 30 minute workout with warm-up and cool-down.
- Drink my R&R with Shakeology.
That’s it. I know what I’m going to do and I feel so accomplished once I’m done.
I learned something new, did my workout and started off with a healthy breakfast. All before the kids wake up.
My mind and body are ready to work at their optimum capacity for the day.
Knowing you’ve gotten your workout out of the way first thing relieves the pressure of having to find time to get it in later and there won’t be anything that gives you an excuse not to get it done.
Just don’t sleep in 🙂
