Should you use a Protein Shake?

I hope you and your family had a Happy Halloween.

My kids had a blast as always and Laurelyn arrived 9 days early just so she didn’t miss out on Halloween.

This is usually the worst time for me when it comes to healthy eating and staying on track.

If you didn’t know.. I love chocolate.

And every year my kids bring home more and more.

I don’t even feel like I have cravings for it anymore.

Usually cravings for junk food come from when your body isn’t getting the nutrition that it needs.

Therefore it wants you to keep shoveling food in so it can get what it needs.

These empty calories cause you to put on the extra weight because you need to eat more just to feel like you are getting enough.

And that’s how you end up gaining weight.

So what do most people do.

They buy a protein shake. Which is essentially just protein…. that you can get from eating anything with protein in it.

And they still aren’t fulfilling their bodies other nutritional needs.

Just finding an easy way to get more protein that isn’t necessarily healthy or even what they need.

I did the same thing until I realized that I was already getting enough protein.

I needed better nutrition.

How do I get all the nutrition and vitamins I need without having to buy endless amounts of produce and spending hours in the kitchen preparing it?

I drink Shakeology.
