I just listened to an audio from Zig Ziglar about the choices we have in life.
He said “I have never accidentally eaten anything.”
Have you accidentally eaten anything?
I’m sure some of us have said it jokingly.
He was talking to his audience asking them a few questions.
The first he asked was, “Would you say that you could take actions in the next few weeks that could make your health, family and business life worse?”
Then, “Would you say that you could take actions in the next few weeks that could make your health, family and business life better?”
The truth is, it really is up to us whether our life gets better or worse.
Things can happen to us but it’s our choice how we deal with them.
It’s also our choice what we put into our body.
It was my choice to be overweight and over 200lbs 3 yrs ago.
Those cookies and ice cream didn’t accidentally end up in my stomach every night.
I didn’t accidentally relax on the couch every night watching TV for 3 hrs.
I didn’t accidently decide not to workout every day.
They were my choices and I knew what the consequences would be.
Now my choice is to workout every morning, watch less than 3 hrs of TV per week and feed my mind every day with new information.
There is only one person that can do anything about it.
Let me know if you want help getting there.
