3 Reasons At Home Workouts Don’t Work

For most people at home workouts simply don’t work.

Here are the reasons that they haven’t worked for me in the past.

1. They are boring.

Yes home workouts can get boring and repetitive when you are simply hopping on a treadmill or elliptical machine.

In addition to being boring they are repetitive as well and that leads to injuries.

And once you get injured you’re going to have to take some time off to heal.

2. They don’t have a plan.

Most people that workout at home don’t stick to a plan and just go downstairs hop on the machine and go at it.

I found that I would start working out and think of something I needed to do and that was the end of the workout.

3. They don’t’ have support.

At the gym people work out with friends and have others at the gym motivating them as well.

At home there usually isn’t any motivation.

I had these same problems to until I found Team Beachbody.

Now I workout at home by putting in the DVD and pushing play.

I know that my goal is to just finish the workout.

They aren’t boring because there are so many different exercises working multiple muscle groups. Yoga, Pilates, Resistance training and cardio so It doesn’t get boring.

It’s a plan I follow that tells me which workout to do each day so I’m not skipping around and missing my leg workout each week.

I get support from the challenge groups. I’m a coach so I support others but they support me as well. We motivate, inspire, post what we are doing and eating. It’s a fun group of people that become friends. It’s a positive atmosphere.

It may be out of the ordinary but not everyone is able to get to the gym.
