I was just telling my group some of the fitness tips I wish I had known when I started.
I was looking through them and thinking… which of these tips has helped me the most.
The answer was RECOVERY!
If you aren’t recovering form your workout how can you expect to be able to perform your best for the next workout.
I ask these questions on my page:
How many workouts did you get in this week?
How many workouts do you have planned for this week?
Many people are working out 7 days a week without any days for recovery.
I only started doing these workouts 2.5 years ago.
They have helped me eliminate countless injuries that I used to get every once in a while.
I don’t even feel like I have to get a massage anymore either.
So they’ve also saved me some money too.
And they help out no matter what your other workouts are.
My schedule includes 2 per week. Sunday and Thursday.
I choose from Yoga, Pilates, Stretching or Foam Rolling.
Once you know your body you’ll know which of these you need to prevent the injury or pull you feel coming on.
