Week 2 of my P90X3 transformation went a lot better than the first week. I find that the first week of any program seems to be a lot slower because I’m unfamiliar with the workout. The second week is always more intense and the third week will be even better. I started this week still a bit sore from the first week. At the end of the week I was a bit sore but not as bad as last week. It’s taking some adjustment to get used to “The Challenge” workout that is on Thursday because I haven’t done pull-ups in so long. Getting stronger and my numbers should be increasing each week.

Day 8

It’s week 2 of my P90X3 transformation today. I’m still a bit sore from last week.

The group at Super Sunday was doing the CVX workout yesterday and they had the music turned off. I thought that Tony talked a lot during the workout but you realize how much when the music is turned off. He doesn’t stop. Good thing they have the cues option on the video so you can just have him tell you when to switch exercises.

Today was better than yesterday and last week. That’s what your goal should be each day. Be better than the you of yesterday.

You may have friends in a group motivating you or friends you workout with that you are trying to be more like, but at the end of the day you aren’t looking in the mirror at your friend. You are looking at yourself. Ask yourself “Am I better than yesterday”.

Wow that warrior half moon/warrior 3 move at the end is tough. I should count how many times I fall and try to fail less next time.

Day 9

P90X3 Agility X workout today. It’s day 9. It was so much tougher than last week. Definitely sweating more. I usually find that for the first couple weeks it tends to be a better workout each week because I get more familiar with the moves and up the pace.

This workout uses targets on the floor for precision. It’s also a great workout for mobility, balance and power. Also a great cardio workout. Sweating in only 30 minutes.

Any time you are thinking of skipping your workout just remember to focus on the big picture and count the benefits of what is right. Then go PUSH PLAY!

Day 10

P90X3 Day 10 Yoga X workout today. Legs are sore from yesterday’s agility X workout. Actually felt it more than last weeks.

I tried the crow move today because since my wrist isn’t bothering me anymore. I almost fell flat on my face doing it. Make sure you have some space with padding in front of you in case you happen to take a spill.

Day 11

Day 11 The Challenge workout today. I picked 10 and 20 for my numbers and barely hit both of them. I ended up doing a lot of assisted pull-ups. The main thing is to make sure you are writing down your numbers so you improve each time.

Keeping track of your weights and taking pictures are the most important for measuring results. The scale can be deceiving.

Day 12

Day 12 of P90X3 Classic Schedule today. The CVX workout was killer. Still using 5-6 lbs dumbbell and my shoulders were on fire.

My kids joined in for a bit at the beginning. This is a workout that you can do with no equipment or with a dumbbell or ball. Really sweating. Great cardio workout.

Day 13

Awesome Warrior workout today from P90X3. Those down dog crunches are a great ab exercise. I’m amazed that there are so many people at the gym doing the same abdominal exercises all the time. They do crunches, sit-ups, ab machines and even do them with weights. Those aren’t the only abdominal exercises you can do.

There are so many exercises out there. Change it up once in a while. Your body will love you for it. Getting out of your comfort zone helps you grow so much. Just look at these videos. I hate doing them, I don’t want to but I’m getting better and more comfortable for doing them. Over time they may actually look good. 🙂

Day 14

Early workout today. Nothing better than starting the day reading and doing some stretching while everyone is still sleeping. It gets you in a better mood to start the day.

This is a great workout for mobility which is great for any athletes out there. It’s included in each week of the classic schedule.

I still have one more week of this schedule followed by a recovery week for week 4. Looking forward to really pushing myself this week.
