I’m on week 9 of my P90X3 transformation. Going good so far. It’s block 3 now so I’m in the final stretch.

Day 57

P90X3 Transformation Day 57 Accelerator, Awesome cardio workout. Substituted the Decelerator.

Are you getting enough sleep? By not getting enough sleep you are increasing the hormone in your body that tells you to eat and decreasing the hormone that tells you are full. Thereby you end up eating more.

Benefits of getting enough sleep are:
• More Energy.
• Your mind is less foggy and brain works better.
• You make better food choices.
• Consume less caffeine
• Increased workout performance.

They recommend 7-9 hrs per night.

Day 58

P90X3 Transformation Day 58 Agility X workout today. Lots of agility moves jumping back and forth running around. Great cardio workout.

I was thinking of starting to do some push-ups and get my shoulder going again until I read in Tony Horton’s book about resting your injury. I’ve been resting my shoulder and doing modified moves along with the DVD’s that are mostly legs. I really hate doing legs though. I want to do upper body.

Injuries can compound if you don’t look after them right away so make sure to take the time to recuperate.

Day 59

P90X3 Transformation Day 59 Pilates X. Awesome workout for core and breathing. I believe that new programs coming out from now on will try to incorporate a yoga, Pilates or stretching day into their routines. They are great for a lighter day and help you improve your overall health.

The first thing you need on your transformation journey is belief. You have to first believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself you’ll never reach your goals. People may get in your way, it’s ok. Just keep pushing forward and they will come around. You will inspire them to be better.

Day 60

P90X3 Transformation Day 60 Yoga X. Feeling good. Almost ready to start some upper body exercises again.

Habits are hard to change for many people. When you think about the big picture it makes it very daunting. You have to think of it as day to day or hour to hour. Don’t go changing everything at the same time. Try one changing one habit a week and by the end of the year you will have changed 52 habits.

Day 61

P90X3 Transformation Day 61 Triometrics. Awesome workout today. This workout is 1 minute for each exercise. You start off for 20 seconds easy, 20 seconds medium and 20 seconds hard. There are lots of balancing moves and this is a great workout for any skaters or skiers out there.

I was reading in the magic of thinking big about health excuseitis. Here are some of the ways you can avoid it.

1 – Refuse to talk about your health.
2 – Refuse to worry about your health.
3 – Be grateful for the health you have.
4 – “It’s better to wear out than rust out”

Day 62

P90X3 Transformation Day 62 Pilates X. Great workout for connecting the rectus abdominus to the spine. This helps your back, core get stronger.

There is no such thing as failure. You just haven’t reached success yet. You may have not reached the results you wanted but it doesn’t mean you have failed. You are still here and if you stay committed and push through you can still reach success.

This video may look like a failure but there is always tomorrow to improve upon it and be successful.

Day 63

P90X3 Transformation Day 63 Dynamix workout today. Don’t forget to do this workout.

I was just reading about the boredom tipping point in Tony Horton’s book. There have been many times where I worked out for 6 months and took a couple off. I kept doing the same workouts. I was hitting my boredom tipping point. After a couple months off I was excited again about starting. This is something to look out for. That’s why so many programs max out at 90 days. Think about what program you are going to do next so you don’t hit this point.
