My P90X3 Transformation Vlog Week 13
It’s the last week of P90X3 for me. I’ll be moving on to Body Beast next week to challenge myself in a different way.
Day 85 & 86
Started off the week with isometrix and accelerator. These workouts are still killing me.
As a leader there is on thing you need to remember.. SLOW DOWN. When are leading your team, kids, or just showing others how to do something it’s going to be slower then if you were doing it yourself.
You have to lead and show how it’s done, let them do it, make adjustments so they can get better at it. It will be frustrating at first but in the long run it will be more beneficial for you.
Feeling a bit sick and didn’t really want to workout today so I decided to try something new. I did the P90X3 bonus workout which is P90X One On One with Tony Horton. One leg workout.
This workout was great. Biceps, Triceps and Shoulders. All you need is dumbbells and push-up stands are optional. It was about 40 minutes.
If you are feeling bored and need to change it up look for that bonus workout you got with your program. They are great.
Day 89 & 90
Finished off the week with Yoga and Dynamix. Still loving these low impact workouts and will add them into my other routines in the future because they really benefit any workout.
P90X3 Final Results
My stats weren’t that staggering in the end. I was dealing with a shoulder injury for 5 weeks of the program and had the Beachbody cruise towards the end to slow results. Still No Excuse.
I gained .5 inches on my arms, .25 inches on my shoulders, .5 inches on my chest, .5 inches on my hips and waist. I also gained 1 inch on my thighs and ended up 6 lbs heavier.
Overall I am not more flexible and I have improved my balance. I realized that I really should do more yoga, Pilates and stretching type workouts so I am in better condition for the future and to prevent injuries. This program was a really eye opener for me and I really learned a lot even though my stats and pictures don’t look like I changed that much.
