Insanity Max 30 Workouts

Insanity Max 30 is a 60 day program that is divided into 2 blocks of 4 weeks each. So the total program would be about 56 days. It’s a bit shorter than Focus T25 which was two blocks of 5 weeks each.

Each month/block of the program contains 5 workouts. The workouts are done Monday-Friday (or the first 5 days with 2 days off). There is an option to do a workout on the 6th day but you are best to let your body rest on the days off or just do something light.

There is also a workout called pulse which you can do on Saturday which is optional. It’s more to focus on core, balance and form. It’s NOT for recovery.

Month 1

Workouts Month 1

The month 1 workouts include cardio challenge, sweat intervals, tabata power, tabata strength and Friday fight round 1.

Cardio Challenge – The first workout so it’s your first fit test.

Sweat Intervals – Cardio workout that will really get you sweating more than you ever have.

Tabata Power – starts with plyometrics and then comes down to where you are not jumping, it’s to generate power and even power in your push-up movement and power from the core. Includes a ridiculous ab block that even humbles people with great abs.

Tabata Strength – more tabata with the strength component.

Friday Fight Round 1 – It’s a nightmare.

Extra workout – Ab Attack is a 10 minute ab workout that is on the cardio challenge DVD. You’ll use more of your core if you do this after the cardio challenge because all your other muscles will already be exhausted.

 

Month 2

Workouts Month 2

What makes month 1 different than month 2?

There is an extra 1 minute at the end of each circuit/block.

Workouts include Max out cardio, Max out sweat, Max out power, Max out strength and Friday fight round 2.

The Max out power and strength workouts are both tabata style which is 45 seconds on and 15 seconds rest with 6 rounds.

 

The bonus Workout when you purchase through your coach.

Sweat Fest – An Oldschool insanity type workout. It is a live workout recorded in New York. Shaun T actually worked out for the entire 30 minutes of this workout.

These workouts sound pretty interesting and challenging.
