What you can expect is a follow along program and nutrition that will help your gain muscle and/or lose weight while working out at home. Body Beast ReviewBody Beast is a bodybuilding program that is a good introduction for someone that hasn’t done bodybuilding before but still good for those that have an understanding of weight lifting.

Who is Body Beast for?

There are several types of people that would like this program.

  • Gym goers that are lacking results – I think I used to be one of these. I got some results at first but after that I didn’t see much. Most of the time it is due to the fact that we don’t really have a program to follow.
  • Mass – People that are looking to add some mass and take their physique to the next level.
  • Hard Gainers – You shouldn’t have any problem if you are following this nutrition/supplement plan and workouts.
  • At home Bodybuilders – If you’ve had enough of waiting for a bench at the gym, commuting, paying expensive gym costs or having to deal with idiots then maybe it’s time to take your bodybuilding home. Who has time to get to the gym anyways, especially if you have kids like me.

Why is it so effective?

Body Beast will help you build muscle and burn fat as well. This serious strength training is great for turbocharging weight loss. It combines a blend of powerful lifting sets which are referred to as Dynamic Set Training.

What are the workouts like?

The workouts include many different types of exercise variations such as single sets, super sets, progressive sets, drop sets and tempo sets. They are all put together in a way you probably havne’t seen before. These crazy angles and different training styles will help to use more muscle fibers so you can build more muscle and burn more fat.

 

Who is the trainer?

Sagi KalevThe trainer for the body beast program is Sagi Kalev. He was born on July 30, 1971 and is the former two time “Mr. Israel”. He has been a fitness model and bodybuilding title-holder. He immigrated to the United States in 1993 to take up bodybuilding and modeling.

You may have seen him in Muscle & Fitness, Iron Man and other Hardcore Muscle Magazines. He is a certified by the Professional Personal trainers Association as a personal trainer. He is also one of the newest Beachbody trainers.

Body Beast Schedule and Calendar

The Body Beast program is a 90 day workout program divided into 3 phases. The 3 phases are Build for X weeks, Bulk for X weeks and Beast for X weeks. There are 12 workouts included with the program.

The workouts are 6 days on and 1 day off per week. The schedules are each 13 weeks.

The first phase BUILD is about getting strong physically and getting a good nutrition foundation. 

The second phase BULK is about growth and gaining additional muscle mass.

The third phase BEAST is about defining the mass or cutting.

Phase 1 is Build:

  • Chest and Tris
  • Back and Bis
  • Legs
  • Shoulders

Phase 2 is Bulk:

  • Chest
  • Back
  • Shoulders
  • Arms
  • Legs

Phase 3 is Beast:

  • Abs
  • Cardio
  • Total Body

Bonus workout that you get through your coach is Lucky 7. Seven exercises in seven pyramids. It’s a total body workout that can be done any time you want to make up for missed workouts. It’s 22 minutes long.

How long are the Workouts in this program?

The workouts are between 30-50 minutes each. The beast abs workout is 11 minutes.

Do I need Equipment?

The recommended equipment for Body Beast is a curl bar, dumbbells or resistance bands, flat- incline bench or stability ball, chin-up bar, chin-up max and a cushioned surface to workout on.

If you are looking to get the best results I would suggest going with the dummbells instead of resistance bands and flat-incline bench rather than stability ball. These will allow you to lift more weight. Chin-up max is optional. I use a chair to take some of the weight off so I can do more pullups.
