Who is 21 Day Fix Creator Autumn Calabrese?

Autumn Calabrese is a celebrity fitness trainer and national level bikini competitor. She has been helping people lose weight and get fit through consistent exercise and simple portion control.

In addition to being a fitness trainer, Autumn is also a single mom so she knows what it’s like having to get back into shape after pregnancy while limited on time.

What is 21 Day Fix?

The 21 Day Fix is a unique portion controlled diet that uses containers to help you measure all your foods so you aren’t overeating. It also comes with 7 calorie burning workouts that are each 30 minutes. It’s a 21 day program that is geared towards helping you change your habits. It takes most people 21 days of a new habit to get it to stick. Usually by the 21st day people are seeing great results and feeling great that they continue the habit forward.

Portion Control Diet

It’s said that 70-80% of weight loss is determined by what and how much you eat. Autumn made this easy by including containers for measuring your foods so you can control how much you are eating.

I have been using the containers or about 2 weeks now and it was an eye opener when I started following the program. I didn’t’ realize that I wasn’t eating enough greens/vegetables and protein. I was stuck eating more than enough fruit and grains/pasta/rice type of foods.

In the program you can also have some cheat foods which are designated to the yellow container. These cheat foods include wine, chocolate, milk, juice and others. They even include some recipes for cheat foods as well. I was drinking milk every day and didn’t even think of it as a cheat but on the program it is. So you can only have it 3 times a week.

I have noticed that I am eating a lot more food but better more filling foods that are helping my body.

What are the Workouts like in this Program?

The 21 Day Fix progam includes 7 x 30 minute workout as well as a 10 minute fix for abs.

The workouts include:

  1. Total body cardio fix – total body workout to keep your muscles engaged and heart rate up.
  2. Upper fix – Intense resistance training to sculpt your chest, back, shoulders, arms and abs.
  3. Lower fix – Resistance training for your glutes, quads and hamstrings. Great calorie burn here.
  4. Pilates fix – Strengthen your core, elongate your muscles and tighten your glutes and thighs.
  5. Cardio fix – Entire body sweat drenched workout.
  6. Dirty 30 – 4 rounds of 8 exercise each.
  7. Yoga fix – Improve your balance, flexibility, strength and increase circulation to speed the healing of your muscles.
  8. 10 minute fix for abs – Shape strong sexy abs for the beach.
